Editorial Board. Over 200 members of the bacterial, fungal, parasitic, prionic, and viral research communities serve on the Editorial Board of PLOS Pathogens. Editors volunteer their time to oversee peer review and guide journal direction. The editorial process is run as a partnership between a group of academic experts who serve as Associate Editors and the Section Editors, or in the case of Front Matter, as Opinions, Pearls, and Reviews Editors, and the Editors-in-Chief.
